OUR STORY
With Turkish-Italian parents working at Four Seasons Hotel at Park Lane in the 1970s (then ‘Inn on the Park’), Aysem has hotels in her DNA. Fast forward to today and she has nearly twenty years’ experience of her own in hospitality and lifestyle communications.
The breadth of her experience, spanning in-house, corporate and agency environments, is unique. On the agency side, she has overseen the strategy for several high-profile clients at PRCO, Mason Rose and Purple PR including The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, Abercombie & Kent, Momentum Adventure and Hotel Le Bristol Paris; to name a few.
Aysem’s first foray into the in-house arena was at the London sales and marketing office of Preferred Hotel Group, where she led communications for the brand across EMEA. Her big move came later in 2014 when she joined The Langham, London, fulfilling a long-held ambition to work for this ‘Grand Dame’ property. She completed her tenure at The Langham five years later as Director of PR & Marketing Communications EMEA and was awarded a ‘Langham Luminarie’ in 2015, a company-wide initiative acknowledging outstanding colleagues.
During her career, Aysem has worked on a number of high-profile launch events. Most recently in 2019, she assisted Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London to deliver their ‘Reinvented and Reimagined’ re-launch of the iconic property.
She has had many such highlights throughout her career - a cocktail with Ian Schrager and The Sunday Times for the launch of Public Chicago and tea with Prince Al Waleed and The Evening Standard for the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Cairo being two that come to mind. Her memory bank of anecdotes and travels are enough to fill a book, and she cherishes each and every one of them.
Aysem is fluent in Italian and French and lives in South London with her husband and two daughters.
